North Melbourne coach Brad Scott has conceded that they're unlikely to select veteran midfielder Daniel Wells for this weekend's game against the Bombers.
Wells suffered a corked leg in the team's seven point win against the Saints on Sunday, which Scott said that Wells won't train later today.
Scott also added that Farren Ray is a good chance to make his debut for the club, with the long term injury of Shaun Higgins, who will require surgery on his knee and miss the next 12 weeks.
Scott: Wellsy won't train today, at this stage I don't think we'll pick him #NMFCMedia— North Melbourne (@NMFCOfficial) May 12, 2016
This week will also mark the first time that Essendon defender Nathan Grima will come up against his former club and team-mates, who Grima still has a very close relationship with.
Scott: I'm wrapped for Nathan (Grima). Our key forwards will have their work cut out on him #NMFCMedia— North Melbourne (@NMFCOfficial) May 12, 2016
