Unfortunately for the Kangaroos, we didn't get to see any of their 2014 draftees in season 2015 with all suffering season ending injuries midway through the season.
For Ed Vickers-Willis, an incident over in Utah during the club's training camp has seen him damage his good shoulder that will see him miss a large chunk of the pre-season.
Vickers-Willis had a shoulder reconstruction in June of this season and will miss part of the pre-season competiton in February.
“He’s certainly not letting this latest setback get him down and has certainly impressed everyone at Arden St with his positive attitude to the news," Football Operations Manager Cameron Joyce said.
“It’s certainly very frustrating for Ed as he had returned to full training when this latest injury occurred on his opposite shoulder.
“He’s been working extremely hard to make his way back and was certainly impressing on the track, so it’s a bitter pill to swallow"
Despite the latest setback, the club does expect Vickers-Willis to be available for round one selection when the season does come around in March.
